Padel Trip to Mallorca for Couples, Small Groups and All Levels
One of the questions that can most hold someone back before joining a padel trip is very simple: “What if I am not good enough?”
I understand it perfectly. Padel is a very social sport, but it can also feel a little intimidating when you do not know who you are going to play with, what level the others will have or whether you will feel out of place on court.
Another common question also comes up: “What if there are only two of us?” Or three. Or four friends. Or a couple who wants to enjoy a different kind of trip. That is exactly why we created Grip and Trip: to offer more flexible, personal and local padel trips in Mallorca, adapted to the real group that is travelling.
Not all players have the same level. Not all groups are looking for the same thing. And not all trips need to follow the same rhythm.
You Do Not Need a High Level to Enjoy It
A padel trip to Mallorca should not be only for advanced players. It can also be a perfect way to get started, gain confidence, improve your technique and enjoy the sport without pressure.
At Grip and Trip, we do not design our trips as a professional camp where everyone has to train at the highest level from the very first minute. Our goal is for every player to enjoy, learn and feel comfortable on court.
You can come if you are just starting out, if you have been playing for a short time, if you have an intermediate level or if you already compete regularly. The important thing is not to arrive with a perfect level, but to come with the desire to play, improve and have a good time.
Because every player has been a beginner at some point. Everyone has missed easy balls. Everyone has struggled with the glass. And everyone has thought at some point: “But why did the ball go that way?”
Training Sessions Adapted to Each Player
One of the key parts of our trips is training with professional coaches. But those training sessions are not the same for everyone, because each level needs to work on different things.
A player who is just starting out may need to understand basic positioning, grip, wall rebounds, the lob or when to move up to the net. A more experienced player may want to improve their bandeja, víbora, defence, tactical reading or decision-making as a pair.
That is why we adapt the sessions so they are useful, dynamic and enjoyable. The idea is not for anyone to feel lost or overwhelmed, but for each person to take away something specific: more confidence, a technical correction, a better reading of the glass or simply more security for the next match.
In padel, improving does not always mean hitting spectacular shots. Sometimes improving means positioning yourself better, choosing an easier ball or understanding that you do not need to hit everything hard.
Balanced Matches to Enjoy More
In addition to training, a padel trip also calls for matches. But for a match to be fun, level matters.
That is why before the trip we ask for information about each player: experience, playing frequency, approximate level and how they feel on court. This short form helps us organise the training sessions better and, whenever possible, prepare more balanced matches.
Because a match that is too uneven is usually not fun for anyone. But when the level is well adjusted, padel becomes much more enjoyable: there are longer points, excitement, laughter, healthy competition and the feeling that everyone is involved.
The goal is not to prove who is better. The goal is to enjoy, improve and create good moments both on and off the court.
Couples, Friends and Small Groups
Grip and Trip is designed especially for couples, friends and small groups. We like this format because it allows us to take better care of the details, adapt the schedules more easily, adjust the padel level and suggest plans that fit the group.
Travelling as a couple is not the same as travelling with friends. Coming with a group of players is not the same as coming with colleagues from work. Wanting to train hard is not the same as looking for a sporty and social getaway.
When the group is small, everything becomes more personal. You can train better, talk to the coach, organise more suitable matches, share meals calmly and enjoy Palma and Mallorca without feeling like you are part of a mass experience.
Padel also works very well for groups of two to six people. You can come with your partner, with another couple, with friends or with club teammates. And if matches need to be adapted or a pairing needs to be completed, we try to organise the experience so everything flows.
Flexible Dates and Plans at Your Own Pace
Many camps or sports trips work with fixed dates, very structured programmes and large groups. That may be perfect for some players, but not everyone is looking for the same thing.
Some people prefer to choose their own dates, travel with their partner or friends, have an organised but not rigid plan, train and play, but also leave space to enjoy Mallorca.
That is our idea.
We want the trip to have structure, but also breathing room. There should be padel, training sessions and matches, but also meals, walks through Palma, moments of rest, local plans and time to feel that you are truly on holiday.
Because padel holidays should not feel like an obligation. They should have energy, learning and fun, but also calm.
Every Trip Has Its Own Balance
Not all groups travel with the same goal. Some want to improve their level a lot. Others want to play matches, meet people and have a good time. Others are looking for a different kind of getaway as a couple. Others come with friends and want to combine sport, gastronomy, tardeo, culture and the sea.
All those ways of travelling make sense.
That is why at Grip and Trip we do not believe there is only one way to experience padel in Mallorca. We believe in adapting the experience to the group, the level and the wishes of each traveller.
Some people finish the match and want to keep training. Others prefer a long meal at the club. Some want to walk through Palma. Some need a siesta. And some, after playing, still have energy to enjoy the Saturday tardeo in Santa Catalina.
The important thing is that padel does not become a source of pressure, but the starting point for enjoying Mallorca in a different way.
A Trip to Enjoy, Learn and Share
If you are thinking about taking a padel trip to Mallorca and you are unsure about your level, the answer is simple: you do not need to be an expert to enjoy it. You need enthusiasm.
Enthusiasm to play, learn, laugh, meet people, discover Palma and enjoy a sports experience with a local soul.
At Grip and Trip, we want every player to feel part of the experience. We do not want anyone to feel they have to prove anything. We want every person to improve from their own starting point. And we want every group to find its own balance between padel, rest, local plans and shared moments.
Because a padel trip to Mallorca does not have to be perfect. It has to be yours.
And if, when you return home, you feel that you have played, learned, laughed, discovered the island and gained a little more confidence on court, then the trip will have been worth it.
